Petra Holler - Director

My name is Petra Höller and I am a visual artist and poet originally from Summerland, British Columbia. For the last four years I have lived on and off between Penticton and Montréal, Québec where I studied art history and studio arts at Concordia University. During my time in Montréal I contributed to a communal artists’ space called Le Réacteur Nucleaire where I curated performance and poetry showcases in addition to other arts events.

Since childhood my preferred media has been the humble pencil; however my curiosity and infatuation with texture and colour has prompted me to explore other media such as oil painting and fibre arts. Lately I have been focused on creating illustrated poetry books which are themed around memory and subjective experience.
