Libby Parsons
Born in Québec, Libby came from an artistic family, and was inspired by many famous Québec artists. Although studying art in school, her life took a different
path as her family moved to India and she studied nursing there. She finished her nursing degree at Queens University and then married a military fellow.

Their years together included two children and involved traveling the globe and living in Europe, the Mediterranean and across Canada. Libby maintained an interest in art and studied whenever she could in spite of frequent moves – first year Fine Arts at the University of Alberta, watercolour and acrylic courses, etching, pen and ink, life drawing and history of art. She painted and sold her art on these travels. Her paintings can be found in private collections around the world. It has been Libbyʼs dream to devote herself to painting in retirement. Libby and her husband chose the beautiful Okanagan valley to retire to and Libby is living her dream! She enjoys watercolour, pen and ink and acrylic painting. Libby is an Active Member of the Federation of Canadian Artists, the Naramata Arts Studio and the Penticton Arts Council.
